Service with a heart makes a difference
Thanks to Comfort Transportation Cabby Mah Sye Fock, travelling is made easy for Abdul Qayyum from Queenstown Secondary and Vanessa from Queensway Secondary although they are handicapped. Cabby Mah has been faithfully conveying them every day and does so without charging a single fare.
Likewise, Yellow-Top Cabby V A Moorthy never failed to help a wheelchair-bound passenger in and out of his taxi when he conveyed her to the Camden Medical Centre 3 times a week for 3 weeks. for going the extra mile, both cabbies are awarded Taxi Driver of the Month for March 2004.
When asked what motivated them to help, Cabby Moorthy said: "Service must first come from the heart. it gives me great satisfaction to see my passengers smile." Cabby Mah could not agree more. he siad: "I'm glad I can make a difference in the lives of there children."
